Q + A

How do I RSVP?

Please respond by mailing in the RSVP card sent with your invitation. If you did not receive a card, please reach out to us and we will ensure we have your RSVP down!

What date should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by August 29th!

What is the dress code for the wedding?

We request our guests wear formal attire. This may include a suit, pantsuit or floor-length to cocktail-length dress. When in doubt, dress to impress!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Most of our wedding events will be indoors or under covered spaces with heaters available. October in Illinois can be anywhere from balmy and warm to down-right cold so be sure to check the weather before you pack!

Are the ceremony and reception venues wheelchair accessible?

Yes! Holy Trinity has an accessible entrance on the west side of the church building. Epiphany is wheelchair accessible as well.

What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venues?

Personal vehicle or Uber is the best way to get to Holy Trinity Catholic Church. There is free parking in the parking lots surrounding the church to the north and east. Personal vehicle or Uber can also be used to get to Epiphany Farms Estate and parking is available in the back of the venue.

What is involved in a Catholic wedding ceremony?

A Catholic wedding ceremony typically lasts about one hour and includes readings from Scripture, prayers, a short homily (sermon), the exchange of vows and rings, and Communion. It’s a beautiful, reverent celebration focused on faith and the sacrament of marriage. If you're not Catholic, don't worry—just follow along, and know that your presence and support mean the world to us!

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

We recommend arriving to the ceremony venue at least 15 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time so that everyone can be in their seats promptly at 1:00pm.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

We kindly ask that you keep device use to a minimum inside the church and refrain from taking any photos or videos at our wedding. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us through it all!

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

Please refer to your invitation as the name of every invited guest is included. Unfortunately no additional guests can be accommodated.
