WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

Pauline, an ordinary Accountancy student who sometimes battled with her books more than she loved them, and Clarence, the campus athlete proudly representing UE in the UAAP—two very different worlds quietly crossed paths in the same university halls, unaware that destiny had already begun weaving their story together.

It wasn’t instant, nor was it rushed. Fate stepped in, bringing their lives together in the most unexpected way. What started as simple conversations soon blossomed into shared meals, food trips, and countless LRT rides home. Through laughter, late-night talks, and even the quiet moments in between, love grew gently and surely. Ordinary days no longer felt ordinary when they were together, and what began as chance encounters became something lasting and true. In time, they found more than just love—they found a confidant, a best friend, and a home in each other’s hearts.

Along the way, the love and support of their families made their story even more meaningful, surrounding them with warmth, encouragement, and the kind of love that reminded them they were never walking this journey alone.

Then came a day they will cherish forever—at the peaceful NIA Dam in Baler, Aurora. Surrounded by the love and support of family and friends, with the calm waters and gentle breeze carrying the moment, Clarence’s heart raced as he knelt before Pauline to ask the question he had long been holding close. Time seemed to pause, and in that stillness, her teary-eyed, joy-filled ‘yes’ sealed the moment. It was a moment so pure, so full of love, that it felt as if the whole world stood still—turning a promise of love into a vow of forever.
