The Bell and Hartley family’s have been friends since college. In 2008 the Bells (from Massachusetts) came and visited Montana in an RV and that was when all us kids met for the first time. Flashing forward to 2021, Caleb Bell reached out to ask for my (Clarissa’s) number and we started chatting. After a few months he decided to come visit and see if we wanted to pursue more then friendship… being a completely ignorant child I told him that I really enjoyed him but would “never get married”. So we parted ways and continued to reach out and check in on each other. Caleb being the stubborn one and continuing to be my friend and confidant even when I’d been terrible. Then spring of 2023 comes around and all his hard work paid off. Just kidding! We both realize how amazing it is that we’ve been able to stay close being well over 2 thousand miles apart. And a very strong love for each other has grown from it. In May I asked him if he’d ever consider dating again and it kinda just took off from there. We both feel at peace with where we are and are very very grateful.
