Mad Chef Kitchen & Bar:

Very close to Turf Valley Resort, in the same area as Grille 620. Somewhat upscale. Food is mostly American, but with some influence from other cuisines: generally, it's creative food and very good.

Syriana Cafe & Gallery:

Middle Eastern food, good for a lunch or dinner during a visit to Old Ellicott City

Honey Pig:

Korean BBQ. We recommend getting the bbq that they cook at your table. Try the Galbi (short ribs), Bulgogi (bbq beef), and tteokbokki (chewy thick rice noodles). It's very popular, so we recommend showing up early!

The Food Market:

This one is in Columbia, so it's slightly further away from the hotel. They are a local favorite, serving creative and fun food.

The Mint Room:

Recommended by Clarissa's parents. Northern Indian food in Ellicott City (not Old Ellicott City). Try the samosa chaat appetizer!
