Yes! Everyone is welcome to bring their special someone to the wedding. Due to space restrictions and our desire for an intimate wedding, we do ask that plus ones are saved for significant others exclusively.
Is smoking allowed at the wedding?
There will be a designated space for smoking at the front of the house in the driveway. Smoking is not permitted in the backyard or under the tent, including marijuana and vaping.
Where do I park?
Street parking is available along Western Ave. There is also a parking available at the old Schomberg Comm & Agri Arena or St Patrick's Catholic School, along with street parking within the neighborhood.
Schomberg Comm & Agri Arena: 251 Western Ave, Schomberg, ON L0G 1T0
St Patricks Catholic School: 51 Western Ave, Schomberg, ON L0G 1T0 (walk through the boardwalk between homes to Brownsville court)
In the invitation you will find a paper map showing parking & the location of the wedding
Is there a gift registry?
Steve and Clarissa already have all of the beautiful items needed to fill their home. For anyone interested in giving a gift, we asking for monetary gifts to go towards the purchase of our first home together.
What should I wear?
Wear whatever it is that your heart desires! We are going for a semi-formal event, so a nice sundress for the ladies and a button up for the men would be lovely. This wedding will be in a backyard in the spring, so we advise wearing flat shoes, a chunky heel, or bare feet! Stilettos will sink into the ground.
Are children invited?
Due to safety reasons and limited space, we are going to be limiting the number of children that are invited to the wedding. The only children in attendance will be the ring bearer & flower girl, and children that are close family members.
Do I need to bring anything?
We will have a fire going as the evening progresses, however you may be interested in bringing a sweater or jacket to keep yourself warm at night!
There is a pool! Can we swim?
The pool will not be open for guests during the evening.
