Where is a good place to eat?
Rosa's Cafe - This is traditional fast Tex-Mex. The locals swear by it.
Bubba's 33 - Fun and casual (and loud). There's a HUGE variety of menu options. They will surely have something to please everyone.
Taco Di Vino* - Local joint with good tacos and cute outdoor patio. FUN FACT: Paul and Clarissa had their 3rd date here! *Cash ONLY
Ray's Italian Bistro - The Jury is still out on this joint's authenticity but it's GOOD.
Red Plate Diner - Causal family atmosphere with good classic diner favorites and a GREAT ice cream selection. If you stop in, be sure to tell the owners we sent you! They're GREAT!

What is there to do in Midland?
There are always the movie theaters and bowling alleys but here are a few unique to Midland things you can do while local:
1-20 Wildlife Preserve - A fun way to stretch your legs and see some of the few trees we have in this here part of Texas.
Petroleum Museum and Science Center - Family friendly and very informative on all things oil (there are racecars and gem stones too!). You'll want to allot a few hours here.
Sibley Nature Center - Another fun and family friendly way to stretch your legs and learn a little bit about the Midland habitat.
Midland Downtown Farmers Market - Take a Saturday morning stroll through the Farmers Market. Lots of local vendors! Our favorites: Flying Y Farms, Cross Country Spices, Sugar & Almonds and El Camino de Las Cabras
Centennial Park - A brand new and expansive park in the heart of Downtown Midland. Let the kids run wild, while you sit back and relax OR do a little shopping at the Micro Market just across the street!
Where can the adults go to enjoy a spirit (or two)?
Opal's Table: The Basement - It's as if you were transported back to prohibition and you've got the keys to the hottest speakeasy in town! Awesome atmosphere, fun cocktails.
Texas Sun Winery - A quaint local vineyard and tasting room. Be sure to grab one of their yummy charcuterie boards, too. Live music most Friday and Saturday nights.
Bean and Grape - Good drink and small bites selection. Their Saturday Brunch is fabulous, too!
