Clark and Olivia met during their college freshman orientation in 2018. They were assigned to the same dorm and over their first weeks on campus they developed secret crushes on each other. Their mutual friends formed a habit of playing cards or watching movies in the evenings. After one such game/movie night, Olivia and Clark found themselves talking long after their friends had gone to bed. This conversation revealed how often throughout their lives they'd inadvertently crossed paths despite growing up in different states. Olivia and Clark attended the same summer camp for many years during their childhoods. Clark's brother Cooper came to STL to attend prom with a girl in Olivia's prom group and they wound up seated together for dinner. Clark and Olivia visited Costa Rica in the same month of the same year. Clark spent the Thanksgiving holiday prior to them meeting as college freshman with his extended family who coincidentally were neighbors and friends with Olivia's family.
This invisible string inexplicably linking Clark and Olivia all these years makes their love for one another and commitment to a future together so undeniably meant to be.
Since finding each other 6 years ago, the two have made happy memories all over the country:
Spending a summer lakeside as camp counselors in Harrison, ME.
Frequenting Clark's hometown Amarillo, TX where they delighted in quality time with Clark's family, hiking at Palo Duro Canyon and Wildcat Bluff, and fish fries.
New York City, NY hosted them for a family fun filled fall break involving all things tourist and a rooftop Andy Grammer concert.
Meeting up during their years of long distance at Clark's mom's home where she generously played tour guide and treated them to the best company Austin, TX has to offer.
Skiing at Sippapu Resort in Taos, NM and hiking their way through picturesque Park City, UT.
Beating Missouri summer heat with excursions to Innsbrook and Table Rock for water sports and cabin stays.
Enjoying Christmases together in Sarasota, FL hot tubbing, laughing, and playing pick up basketball with family.
Singing in Dallas, TX at a Willie Nelson and Chris Stapleton concert.
Road-tripping with family to Destin, FL to indulge in a magical beachfront spring break.
Soaking up the sun and local culture for a week in Kona, HI.
Catching a Harry Potter film symphony concert live in Louisville, KY.
Celebrating 5 years together in Chicago, IL with a weekend of museums and good eats.
As marvelous as all of this travel was, Olivia and Clark know that nothing will compare to the kind of adventure together forever offers.
