Some of Claryce's best friends, Miranda and Joe, invite Claryce to a black turtle neck themed NYE party. Claryce unfortunately cannot make it because she had an early morning flight to Puerto Rico the next day. Turns out this was good because one of Joe's lifelong friends and host of said party, Daniel, brought a date.

It's Halloween weekend 2022. Again, Miranda and Joe invite Claryce to a party hosted by Daniel. Claryce and Daniel again miss each other as Miranda leaves early to join Claryce at the bars instead.

Daniel and Claryce are both in search of love, so they turn to Bumble, the dating app. Daniel sees this picture on Claryce's profile and realizes she knows his friend, Joe. (He claims he liked other aspects of her profile aside from the picture of Joe, but that is up for debate.) Daniel texts Joe for the inside scoop.

Daniel and Claryce swiped right. It's a match! They have been chatting on the app for about a week when on a road trip to Nashville, Joe casually mentions to Claryce that he heard she matched with his good friend Daniel. Claryce is thrilled to learn that Joe knows her recent dating app match and immediately messges Daniel: "You know Joe and Miranda???"

After months of fate trying to bring them together, Daniel and Claryce go on their first date to North Mass Boulder, a climbing gym in Indianapolis. Obviously it went pretty well.

The first of endless moments Claryce would force Daniel to take a picture with his food or drink.

First official double date with the couple who played such an integral role in setting us up.

When Claryce was sent to Madison, IN for 8 weeks in April and May for her internal medicine rotation, Daniel would regularly visit. A 2 hour drive was nothing for Daniel if it gave him the chance to spend even just a few hours hanging out. Sources say he had a big fat crush on her.

Turns out Claryce had a giant embarrassing crush on Daniel too. She invited him to a wedding all the way in Minnesota after only a few months of dating. Special shoutout to Tessa and Chee for having some real foresight into this budding relationship and giving Claryce a last minute plus one.

It's a true crime it took so long for this double date to happen.

Claryce throws Daniel a golden themed birthday party and begins the process of preparing for a lifetime of being called an old lady by Daniel who is exactly 2 months and 5 days younger than Claryce.

2023 was the year of weddings. Shoutout Taylor and Dylan <3

The Indy 500 deserves a place on this timeline. IYKYK.

Joe and Miranda wedding. Daniel and Claryce were originally invited as separate guests, but by the time this day came around, went as each other's date.

I wasn't lying when I said it was the summer of weddings. Ben and Angela (and Rachel, pictured), we love you guys.

We refer to July as our "month of adventure" since Claryce had a virtual rotation, and Daniel's whole job is a virtual rotation. Many smores and hotdogs and canned margaritas were consumed around the campfire this month.

Our first of many triathlons together! Claryce won first place in her age group. Daniel won the award for most miles raced, (he accidentally took a wrong turn and biked 12 extra miles).

Month of adventure part 2: Daniel and Claryce visited Maya and Paxson in DC. The trip consisted of museums, thrift stores, margaritas in the train station, and the world's smallest tacos. DC was a blast, but we are so thankful these two have moved back to Indianapolis so we can hang out all the time.

Month of adventures part 3: Visiting Joe and Miranda in North Carolina, and exploring their new home. Luke Combs unfortunately did not play the song that Daniel and Miranda spent hours memorizing just for this night.

It wouldn't be a complete timeline without a picture of Cabbage.

It's unclear who Daniel was trying to impress more with this outfit: Claryce or her dad.

A pretty common date night for us consists of hours on the bike trainer followed by our usual Toppers order: one large pizza, one large order of boneless wings, one large order of cheese sticks.

Redeemed NYE by going on a Segway tour in Savannah, GA with Claryce's family.

Valentine's Day Gala to support the arts! (included in the timeline only because we look so good)

Daniel lied to Claryce about forgetting his credit card at a coffee shop. (That was the cover story to get Claryce to the coffee shop where a beautiful romantic proposal set up was waiting, for those who haven't heard the story yet)
