Our Wedding

Claudia and I always got along so naturally when we worked together—it genuinely felt like we had known each other for years. We would exchange playful messages on social media, and eventually we swapped numbers. (She says it was just to ask me to switch shifts, but I was secretly so excited… while trying my best to play it cool.) One day, Claudia texted me asking if I was a Blackhawks fan. I replied, “Everything I own is Blackhawks… do you really have to ask me that?” I casually mentioned that I had two season tickets for the next season—my way of hinting that we should go together. Claudia was excited, but also a little irritated that I invited her to a game eight months in advance. Not long after, I told her I had always thought we should go out. She decided to give me a chance, and after our very first date we both felt something special. She met up with a close friend afterward and joked, “I think I just met the father of my children.” Our third date became one of our favorite memories. A wild rainstorm had rolled in, and as Claudia walked down from the parking garage, she saw me waiting at the bottom with an umbrella in hand. Something about that moment—him standing there in the rain, ready to take care of me—felt like a quiet revelation that he really could be the one. After dinner, he walked me back to my car, and our first kiss sealed what our hearts already knew: we were meant to spend the rest of our lives together. With our faith as the foundation of our relationship, we trust in the beautiful future God has prepared for us. We can’t wait to continue walking in His plan, hand in hand.

Ceremony begins at 5:00pm. Venue opens at 4:30pm for guest arrival. Please plan to be seated no later than 4:50pm as the ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm. Out of respect for the couple and their guests, late arrivals will not be permitted once the processional has begun.
