For those wanting to stay in downtown Cleveland setting. A very short Uber ride to where reception is and close to a lot of things to do.

Another downtown Cleveland option. A very short Uber ride to where reception is and close to a lot of things to do. However, I wouldn't say you could easily walk to a lot of things.
Hyatt Regency Cleveland At The Arcade
Another downtown Cleveland option and a beautiful more historical hotel. Short Uber ride to reception. Limited walking options, but Ubers/Lyfts can quickly and easily get you around to a lot of choices.
ROOST Cleveland
This another downtown option, but an extended stay hotel, so units have small kitchens, etc. Again, short Uber rides to lots of places, but limited walking options.
All of the suggested hotels are in downtown Cleveland. There are a lot of fun neighborhoods that surround downtown, but these neighborhoods don't have hotels. Should you wish to avoid staying downtown, but want to stay in a fun, walkable neighborhood I would look at Airbnb or Vrbo options in Ohio City, Tremont, and Lakewood.
Should you want to stay in a home on the lake, I might recommend looking at Airbnb and Vrbo options in Lakewood, Rocky River, Westlake and Bay Village. These are all suburbs on the westside of Cleveland and while further from the reception and fun, walkable neighborhoods like Ohio City and Tremont, it would not be difficult to get an Uber to get around.
