Jeff (alien) and Claudine (unicorn) met online on a dating site though neither of them felt they were at a point in life to actually date. Jeff liked Claudine’s profile and Claudine would always check out profiles of anyone that liked hers (and that would be the extent of her effort). For some reason she found herself unable to stop looking at Jeff’s pictures and videos which had never happened before. Sure he was attractive but she had always been more attracted to personality traits than physical qualities. Jeff had an aura for lack of a better word so she did something she never did, initiated contact by sending him a short message but didn’t expect a response. 15 minutes later she got one. The start of many long late night texts and phone calls began, and when they finally met in person they both felt familiar and comfortable and their connection was deep; they felt drawn to each another. The timing in their lives couldn’t be much worse, and neither felt a relationship was realistic and agreed to not look ahead and just live in the moment whenever they were together. So despite repeated conversations on this topic a relationship developed and the bond that grew between them was far stronger than either of them had ever experienced.
