The wedding ceremony and reception will be held outside at the bride’s mother’s house. A sentimental place where childhood memories have been made and creating a beginning of the future for us!     

Our Story

Our story is quite simple. After Elise spent countless bad dates from online dating apps, she decided to take a break from it all, but soon after to her surprise, a new message popped up in her inbox from Clay. After a few short messages back and forth, she discovered he was from Hanover County, just like her, which made her think this guy would be different. We met for dinner at Casa Grande and by date number two, Clay unintentionally, met Elise’s mom, and didn’t skip a beat. From then on, Elise knew he was her one.

Since then, our adventures together have been steadfast and Elise has discovered her love for the outdoors and the mountains. All of it being by the love, support, and wisdom given to her by Clay.

Our adventures continue and we are so excited to share our day with you!

Key Notes about the Day

With love and safety in mind, and because our wedding is directly next to a pool, we are unable to host young children. We hope this is understandable and look forward to celebrating with you!  Parking will be limited as the event will be held in a private neighborhood. We ask that you park on the street and not on any of our or any neighbors’ yards to respect their property.

We will have golf-kart rides to assist you to and from your vehicle to the wedding! If you are able and willing to carpool with other guests, or inclined to get an Uber/Lyft, please do so!  

Dress Code

SEMI-CASUAL

Ladies, be mindful when choosing your shoes for this event! Parts of the wedding will be in the woods, and we want you to be as comfortable but as stylish as you want to be!
