Seriously?

Yes. Seriously.

Why did you get married like this?

We chose to elope because amidst life's busyness and family complexities, we prioritized celebrating our union in a way that was truly our own. By opting for this intimate path, we could focus solely on love and positivity, free from external pressures and financial burdens. Our decision allowed us to start our new journey together with simplicity and joy, avoiding unnecessary stress and ensuring our special day was authentically ours.

Why so sudden? Are you pregnant?

No. We aren’t (and can’t ever be) pregnant. We knew we did not want a whole wedding from the very beginning. We chose this date because of the significance behind it.

What is the significance of the date?

We chose to get married on Scott and Jane Fague’s 50th wedding anniversary to honor and celebrate their enduring love and commitment. Their milestone represents a beautiful example of a lasting marriage, and we hope to embark on our journey together with the same joy, love, and dedication that they have shown throughout their lives.

How long did you keep the secret?

18 days. We decided two and a half weeks prior. (Thank goodness for Amazon!)

Why didn’t you tell me?

We chose not to share because we wanted to savor this special moment in private—a temporary bubble just for our bliss.

Are you going on a honeymoon?

Absolutely! We're jetting off to Belize for our honeymoon. While one of us tackles scuba diving (the other one of us be lounging poolside with a good book), we'll both be soaking in the beautiful beaches and making memories together.

Does this mean I have to send you a gift?

Absolutely not! We expect nothing. However, we know a few loved ones will insist. There is a small registry available on Amazon and on this website. Contributions to our honeymoon would also be a perfect option. Your love and support are gift enough, though!
