FLIGHTS: You can fly direct into Cozumel or you can fly into Cancun and take a ferry. The cost is about the same. Maybe set your VPN to a third-world country to secure a cheaper rate.

Playa Azul Cozumel Hotel is right next door, sharing the same beach as well as a bar in between. If you don't want to pay $200+ per night at the Westin, this place is very nice and you can get a room short notice or in advance for less than $100. And its about 100 feet from the Westin.
