Our Wedding

Our story started at our alma mater, Furman University in Greenville, SC. We met in 2004, became colleagues in 2007, started dating in 2014, and Clint got down on one knee by the Christmas tree at White Oaks in November 2016. We can't wait to start our lives together!A little about us...Clint is from Tulsa, Oklahoma. A soccer and baseball scholarship brought him to Furman in 1999, and he never left Greenville. He has worked for his alma mater since he graduated in 2003 in development. Anyone want to join the Paladin Club? :)Tia grew up in Gastonia, North Carolina, and fell in love with Furman during her college search. After graduation she worked in the Furman admission office until 2013 and is now a college counselor.

Conveniently located just one mile from our reception venue in downtown Belmont, eight miles from the center of Charlotte, and seven miles from Charlotte Douglas International Airport. Hotel is just two miles from our reception venue and offers a free shuttle from 5am until midnight that runs to and from CLT airport.

There are several restaurant options, boutiques, and antique stores. If you venture outside of downtown to Catawba Mill Antiques you will find a wealth of booths with antiques and crafts. Some of our favorite restaurants are Sammy's, String Bean, and Nelly's Country Kitchen. Local sightseeing: Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens, US National Whitewater Center, Crowder's Mountain State Park, Billy Graham Library &amp; Museum

River Jam on Thursday, June 1Starts at 7:00 pm. Concert is free, but $5 per vehicle parking fee. USNWC's weekly concert series provides the perfect back drop for a fun summer evening outdoors. Enjoy music, large food and craft beer selection, and take in the sights and sounds of River Jam.

U.S. National Whitewater Center 

Jazz at the BechtlerFriday, June 2 at 6:00 pm and 8:15 pmTickets $14 Mid-century art meets mid-century music on the first Friday of each month at the Bechtler. Jazz concerts are performed with Tia's friend and colleague, Noel Freidline, on keyboard. Concertgoers may choose from one of two shows: 6 to 7:30 pm or 8:15 to 9:45 pm. Each concert is performed without an intermission.<h3></h3>
