Formal or Better
For the feminine: floor-length gowns and jumpsuits, fancy cocktail dresses, hot pantsuits could all fit the bill. Just don't forget that we'll be outside for part of the afternoon - maybe bring a shawl!
For the masculine: wear a suit if you have one but at least a tie. Feel free to loosen your tie and lose your jacket once we get going on the dance floor!
Ultimately, we want our guests to also feel beautiful on our beautiful day. So wear something that you'll feel confident and good in.
Please don't wear jeans, shorts, or an all-white dress (the groom might get confused).
We'll be outdoors for the ceremony and indoors for the reception. We plan to have the ceremony outside no matter the weather (barring dangerous conditions) so please check the weather ahead of time and come prepared!
If the weather is good, we will also have outdoor reception activities: bonfire, lawn games, etc.
Everyone invited will be listed on your invitation. We're so very grateful to have such a large circle of family and friends, but that also unfortunately means we're pushing maximum capacity at the venue and can't accommodate many more people. However, if you feel we made a glaring omission when your invite arrives, please let us know!
Please do if you plan on drinking - we'll have a cash bar.
Yes! In fact, we encourage it. We'll have a handful of people on deck to help folks get back to their hotel if they need. Please find the Maid of Honor or Best Man if you need a ride and they will help arrange it. Don't drink and drive!
Just remember to pick your car up by 9AM the next morning.
