Things to Do

Visit L.L. Bean

L.L. Bean, based in Freeport, Maine is always a fun stop. Take a look around the flagship store and don't forget to get your picture taken with the big boot or the moose with locked antlers!

Snowshoe at Quarry Road Trails

Quarry Road is located in Waterville, Maine.

It hosts a number of cross country ski trails and snowshoe trails. Depending on the weather, snowshoes trails may still be open in March. They offer free snowshoe rentals.

Visit our Engagement Location

James popped the question on February 24, 2019, in the middle of a snow storm while we were out on a walk. One of our favorite walking locations is the Mount Hope Cemetery. It's quiet, and safe for us to take our pup for walks. Make sure to stay on the paths and don't walk or stand on any gravestones (like we did during our engagement - we did move out of respect before we continued)!

Celebrating the Maine Bicentennial

March 14-15 is Maine Statehood weekend!

On March 15, not only are we celebrating our wedding, but we are also celebrating Maine's 200th birthday! Check out the Maine 200 website for local activities and events for Saturday!
