Cody and Keaon were set up at a mutual friend's 20th birthday party at the classiest bar in Hamilton...It might have been the country music, or it might have been Cody's finger dancing, but that night sparked something in Keaon that he couldn't ignore. After exchanging numbers Cody and Keaon fell in love and now many years later, you're all here to celebrate!

Keaon and Thomas have been friends since grade 9. But it wasn't until grade 10 math and football that their friendship really started to grow. Over the years, they have experienced many different things together that has made their relationship grow into what it is today. When it came time to choose a best man, it was a no-brainer who Keaon would pick. Tom has been there through thick and thin, and will now help Cody and Keaon celebrate one of the most important days of their lives. 

While Cody and Merryn met at Holbrook Elementary, they fell in flove (friend love) on the weedy grass of Dalewood Middle School over games of football (the way to meet boys back in the day) and over many, many agenda pages filled with notes written in sparkly gel pen (the way to communicate in class before texting)! While Cody and Merryn share a love of many things, including Jesse McCartney and Miley Cyrus songs, a great board game, Harry Potter, and dogs, we have been lucky enough to love travelling and adventuring together: dancing to Kanye under the Eiffel tower, drinking margaritas on a beach in Mexico, tanning in the sand in Cuba (while Emily watched from the shaded area :)), and becoming Wayhomies!"To this day, Cody is one of my favourite people to be around. She has the most infectious personality and is a fiercely loyal friend. I feel so lucky to have been a part of your life with Keaon, and to have watched you go from flirty dance partners at a bar to an engaged and very much in love couple. I can't wait to be a part of your special day with Keaon and celebrate your new future together! "

Merryn

Nima was not only a brother, but also a father figure to Keaon. Often having to take care of his younger brother while their parents worked to support their famly. Nima moulded Keaon into the man that he is today...often giving his younger brother advice, his younger brother ignoring that advice, and then realizing that the advice was right all along. Keaon wouldn't be where he is in life today if it wasn't for the life lessons from his big brother. 

Nima

Cody and Emily met at a very young age and because of this know way too much about each other. They spent countless nights at each other's houses watching Leafs games, playing Jeopardy along with Mr. Trebek, and sitting on front porches watching the world go by while singing just a little bit too loudly. Though they went to different high schools, they were still inseparable, and you could sometimes find Cody sitting by Emily's locker when she should have been at her respective school up the mountain. Cody's parents (June and Jamie) refer to Emily as "Sister Em" and what a sister she has been. Although neither girl was gifted a sister in a younger sibling (both have younger brothers) they have been able to fill each other's void by sharing clothes, covering for each other to parents, having disagreements about nothing, but always having each other's back. Sisters in Guiding, Sisters in life. "Cody and I met at Girl Guides in the fifth grade, and since then we've gone on more adventures than I could ever list. We've spent a good amount of our lives as our friends' favourite "twins" - we'd even play into it and convince people that we were actually related! I feel genuinely lucky to consider Cody not only a friend, but an unofficial family member as well. She is the most devoted, loyal, compassionate person, which shines through in all aspects of her life. It's been such a joy to see Cody and Keaon create such a beautiful life together. I'm so very excited to celebrate their marriage this September, and to see what the future holds for my favourite couple!"

Emily

Danielle and Cody met in 2011 while taking Early Childhood Education at Mohawk College. They survived countless group projects, karaoke lunches in the Arnie, midnight adventures, and even a concert or 2 and have remained the best of friends. The amount of support in this friendship is incredible, and either girl will drop everything for the other if she needs it.Also, they are master Snapchat-ers.  

Danielle

Although Tyler and Cody went to high school together, and have been Facebook friends longer, it was Keaon who brought the trio together. In fact, Tyler often likes to remind Cody that he was Keaon's first love.Unfortunately for Tyler, his birthday shennanigans have not been attended by Cody and Keaon for the last 6 years because that is the date of their anniversary...Sorry Tyler. Ty always looks out for Keaon on the soccer field and in real life, and because of that they are the best of friends. 

Tyler

Cody and Mandy met in grade 11 biology at Westmount High School in 2007. They bonded hard and fast over not really knowing anyone else in the class, solidified on Kelly Clarkson and Leona Lewis power ballads, and sleepovers, they quickly became inseparable. Mandy is the reason Cody almost always has her nails done. One morning, biology was cancelled and they were left with time to kill, someone suggested getting manicures, and 10 years later Cody still has flawless fingers. Although Mandy chose the farthest school away that she could think of while still staying in Ontario (Laurentian), Cody and Mandy remained close friends and love to reminisce about high school and to see what past classmates are up to (on social media).

Mandy

What do you get when you put a Persian and an Austrian together? Two guys who can argue all day about soccer. Andreas and Keaon have been friends since high school, but it wasn't until after high school that their friendship really blossomed. Times like Dre having to stick his head out of Keaon's sunroof in order to fit in his car, or Dre falling in mud on the way to Keaon's dorm room are just some of the hilarious memories these two share. 

Cody and Marin met while working for Mohawk College's residence in 2013.Cody and Marin quickly bonded over their love of helping students, but most importantly over their love of Dominos pizza, and Ke$ha dance parties (Timber was big that year). Though the student thing got old, and apparently the Ke$ha thing has gotten questionable, the love of pizza has kept them together. "Numerous tea dates, dog dates, and Ikea trips later and Cody is one of my closest friends. She makes me laugh, cry, and laugh when she cries (over sappy videos and stories!) and we always have such a great time. She has introduced me to an amazing new group of friends and helps me make Hamilton more and more my home each day. It's been an adventure and a joy to watch her and Keaon grow together - with their house, dog, and their love - and I couldn't be more excited to be a part of Cody's big day. I wish you both the happiest marriage and look forward to countless future adventures together. I think we'll keep Ke$ha around, just for old time's sake."

Marin

No matter how hard Keaon tries, he just can't get rid of Pat. Years of constant bickering and chirping on and off the soccer field is just their way of saying I love you, man. The two of them create quite the tandem team on the football field, and you can be sure if they are in a room together it won't be quiet.

Howard Johnson Inn - Gravenhurst

This location is half way between Gravenhurst and Bala. The property has 2 and 3 bedroom cabins on Clear Lake. We have blocked all of the 2 bedroom cabins but you can request a three bedroom if needed. On weekends 2 night minimum stay.Rate: 2 Bedroom $250 per night &amp; 3 bedroom $300 per night

The Lone Pine Inn has six (6) available rooms in three (3) styles. These styles and rates are outlined on their website. Two night minimum stay.
