“The most important idea to take away from the cocktail dress code is that your goal is to create an elegant look wearing a floor-length, knee-length, tea-length, or midi dress,” suggests social etiquette advisor Maria Lucrecia Arguello. “This is not the time to wear a gala gown or a short mini skirt.” For the men, all experts agree: a suit and tie are required for cocktail attire. Go with darker hues in chillier months or for evening events, but feel free to wear lighter grays or blues in warmer weather or for daytime celebrations. As for shoes, keep it classy with a nice pair of dark dress shoes that match your belt.

The ceremony will take place outdoors on grass and the cocktail hour and the reception will take place indoors.

We will be providing a shuttle from the Horseshoe Bay Resort Lobby to the Lawn Landing area for the Ceremony. There is little room to park for the ceremony so we strongly suggest you take the shuttle. The cocktail hour and reception will take place at the Cap Rock Pavillion. There is room to park at the Cap Rock Pavillion for the reception if would you like to drive yourself there. The address is 2655 Bay W Blvd, Horseshoe Bay, TX 78657.
