When Cody and Rose were at the Winfield Bluegrass Festival in 2024 he had a whole plan to ask Rose to marry him. They were out one night and came across "Carp Camp" which a big orchestra of people play in a tent. They were out there listening and watching them play and a guy came over and asked them "Would you like to sit in the middle?" to which Rose was absolutely Ecstatic about. She had been going to the festival since she was old enough to make her own way there and get her own ticket. Not once had she ever been put in the middle to listen. They decided on playing a love song, a song about the devil??? And one about overcoming the devil? Redemption? Something like that. While they were playing the love song Rose texted Mark and CC telling them they HAD to come over while she was bobbing about getting lost in the music. In those moments watching this beautiful lady just enjoying herself so much Cody thought, "MAN I WISH I COULD PROPOSE TO HER RIGHT HERE!!" and told her about it later on that night saying he wished that was when he had asked her.

Cody was filling out job applications shortly after moving in with Rose and noticed smoke coming from the bedroom. There was no fire in the bedroom, but he opened the curtains. He saw flames coming up from outside. He went to the kitchen and got a few bowls of water to put the fire out going back and forth helplessly pouring them on the siding of the house that had caught fire from a "butt bucket" called Rose's brother and told him. He wasn't mad but impressed Cody got the fire put out.

The morning came and Cody was starting his plan off to ask Rose to marry him. He had given the rings to CC to put into a Bouquet that he had bought from her to ask her, set up the projector, laid out some nice clothes and was waiting for the time… CC dubbed "the time" as "family dinner at 4". Everyone at the camp kept talking about "Family dinner at 4" and Rose was getting the idea. Well 4pm came and went and Rose still was getting ready to go out in the camper with Jill and Fairrah. Fairrah was sleeping still and hurried to get up and make it happen because she knew she was late. They left and came back and during that time Cody had set up the projector, gotten the bouquet ready, and decided not to put on the fancy clothes just to stay in the good ol' Winfield Tie Dye. Because it was 4pm it wasn't dark yet so it was hard to see the projector. By the time Rose had made it back it had timed out and turned off. Cody was still sitting there ready to propose. The plan wasn't going as planned but it was still going to happen. Rose and the group walked around the opposite side of the camper than what Cody had planned for. Then rose stood in shock. Cody asked "Alexandria Rose Radenberg, will you come here?" and she did, then he asked "will you let me put some weight on that finger of yours?" to which she said yes, then she was confused wondering where her ring was. Cody said "it's in the flowers, in the owl." she found it finally and looked and started shaking, then said "Ya gonna put it on???" in a very funny accent, and nervous and both of them shaking Cody did put the ring on her, then everyone cheered as they embraced and kissed and cried and were just happy as could be.
