Once upon a time in a world where swiping right had become the norm, two traditional souls found themselves reluctantly navigating the online dating scene. Cody and Carly matched one fateful day, both of them initially bemoaning the fact that they had to meet this way. But as they chatted, they realized this modern approach might just lead to something special.As their first date approached, the nerves kicked in. Carly couldn’t shake the feeling of apprehension; meeting someone new always had her on edge. So, in an effort to calm her jitters, she may have indulged in a little liquid courage before their rendezvous. When she finally saw Cody for the first time, she was struck by a mix of excitement and anxiety.The evening unfolded in a blur of laughter and awkward moments. Carly struggled to read Cody—was he just as nervous as she was, or was there something a bit off about him? It turns out he was a delightful combination of both, which only added to the charm of their night.They spent hours talking, getting to know each other, and slowly discovering a shared sense of humor that made the time fly by. As the night wore on, they closed down the bar together, their conversation flowing as freely as the drinks. At some point, Carly gathered the courage and made the first move, a detail that Cody loves to recount as part of their story.By the end of the night, they both knew they had to see each other again. From Online to Unforgettable 

They both knew it was coming—just a matter of when. After all, they had already gone ring shopping together, and the excitement of knowing their future was coming into focus only made the wait more thrilling. To keep the element of surprise, they had agreed that each weekend, they’d get dressed up and go on a special date. That way, Cody could keep her guessing about when he would actually propose.One weekend, they found theirselves at the airport, headed to Cody's hometown of Pittsburgh. This trip had been in the works for a while. He had been wanting to show Carly around the place where he grew up, so she had no idea that this trip would turn into something much more special. But of course, life has a way of throwing curveballs, and as they made their way to the gate, their plane was delayed—by a whole 24 hours! What should have been a smooth start to their three-day weekend turned into a bit of a mess. At the time, Carly had no idea that this setback would throw a wrench in Cody’s proposal plans. He was trying to keep things low-key, but inside, she knew he was probably scrambling.The next day, they tried again—back to the airport to catch the flight to Pittsburgh. Finally, they made it. As they explored the city, Carly could sense Cody was a little extra nervous, but she had no idea what was in store for her. Fast forward to the good part: the moment she had been waiting for… and honestly, hoping for.Carly had one request for when he proposed—she wanted someone there to capture the moment. She didn’t know how or when it would happen, but she knew she'd want to remember it forever. So, as they got in line to ride the famous incline in Pittsburgh, a random stranger with a camera stepped in line behind them. Her heart started racing. Carly had no idea if it was a coincidence or if Cody had set it up, but she suddenly realized what was happening. This was it.They took the trolley to the top of the hill, and with every passing minute, the anticipation grew. Cody led Carly to the perfect spot overlooking the entire city—Pittsburgh, with its bridges and skyline stretching out beneath them. The moment felt surreal as he got down on one knee, both of them with nervous laughs and happy tears, he asked Carly to spend forever with him. She couldn’t hold back the tears as she said yes, and the camera clicked behind them, capturing the moment for all time.It was everything they could have dreamed of and more, and they'll forever treasure that day.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR THE WEDDING?Our wedding is semi-formal, so we recommend cocktail attire or dressy casual wear. Feel free to dress up!

WHERE IS THE WEDDING TAKING PLACE?The ceremony and reception will be held at Highpoint Events, located at 3321 Old US Hwy 421, Greensburg, IN. If you need directions or more information, please visit our venue's website or feel free to reach out to us.

WILL THERE BE PARKING AT THE VENUE?Yes! There is ample parking available at the venue. For those who may require accessible parking, please reach out to us ahead of time, and we’ll make arrangements.

Holiday Inn Express Greensburg, an IHG Hotel

To make transportation easy for our guests, we’ve arranged a shuttle service to and from the venue! Shuttle Schedule:Shuttle will run in 10-minute increments between both hotels and the venue.The first pickup will be at 3:30 pm, with continuous loops to the venue.The last drop-off at the venue will be at 4:20 PM.Ceremony begins at 4:30 pm. For Guests Staying at Hampton or Holiday Inn:Shuttle will pick up guests from Hampton and Holiday Inn starting at 3:30 pm and transport them to the venue. The return shuttle will be available throughout the evening until 11:30 pm to take guests back to the hotel. For Guests Not Staying at Hotels:If you're not staying at the hotels, you're still welcome to use the shuttle service! Simply park at one of the hotels listed and board the shuttle at the scheduled pickup time. Please note that the shuttle will only stop at these two hotels so your return drop-off will be at the same location. We encourage guests to take advantage of this service so everyone can relax and enjoy the evening without worrying about transportation. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us!
