It all began on a little app called Bumble. Yes, we met on a dating app. We matched through the app in July of 2021, and spent the next few months building up a friendship over text and snapchat.

Who made the first move Colby, twice. Colby first asked Trey to be her date to Delta Gamma's fall formal. Then before they even got to that first date Colby was forced to ask him to attend the Auburn-Georgia football game. He of course said yes to both and fell madly in love right away. Trey however did not express his love until they attended Auburn Rodeo together.

From then on their were many middle of the week dates, Auburn baseball games, and nights at home trying out new recipes.

One day in February Trey and Colby were planning to go to Auburn for the first home baseball game of the season. Trey had been insistent that they leave the game early to go get dinner at Hamilton's and Colby was being very difficult and refusing. After all why would you want to leave a baseball game early and also not get dinner at Niffer's while in Auburn for the day. Plans were changed anyways when Auburn's first game of the series got cancelled and moved to the next day. Trey was still insistent that they go to Hamilton's, now before the game the following day, and Colby finally agreed. After their fancy dinner they took a stroll across Samford Lawn and Trey stopped to get down on one knee. Of course she said yes!
