Three things Ashlee would die on a hill about are: Buc-ees is a cult, if you keep eating avocado your body will learn to love it, and she belongs on Cole's apocalypse team. Cole may adamantly disagree with all of those things but he does know that Ashlee is his OOB and he is hers. What is OOB? OOB is a backwards BOO from the ghost in Reduced Shakespeare Company's backwards retelling of Hamlet. This early shared moment of silliness in their relationship sparked magic as they both thoroughly enjoyed the bit. They say sparked magic because Cole and Ashlee are so opposite of each other that whenever they discover something they both love: candy corn, Mike Birbiglia, hiking the camino; it becomes a treasured part of their relationship. OOB is a loving reminder that all their differences make the shared joys brighter. That opposites attract and give them opportunities to see new perspectives, try new things, and take new risks. Along with some references to RSC in the ceremony you might notice some for Alice in Wonderland. Cole picked that theme because of their adventurous spirit and that one cannot grow without risk and both he and Ashlee are very focused on that.

With your help the better player will be revealed at the reception. They can't wait to celebrate their forever with everyone!

Where the bride and groom are staying, and home base for the weekend. This hotel is 1 mile from the venue. Use the website link for their hotel block and group rate. Cole &amp; Ashlee will be hanging out at the hotel's bar and lounge May 9th from 730-930p for any guests that want to meet up the night before.

If you prefer to leave your car at the hotel in lieu of open lot or street parking you may consider jumping on the KC street car at Library Stop and hopping off at Crossroads Stop then walking (.2 miles) 5 minutes to the venue.

The KC airport is a 25 min drive from the AC Hotel. All the weekend events are walkable or a short Uber, so a rental car isn't necessary unless you prefer one to explore more of Kansas City.
