The story of how we met begins way back in 2020, though we did not really even get to really know each other until much later.

I was already head over heels, and I later found out, to my relief, that Cole too was experiencing these same feelings.

We started working together in August, and both of us were eager to continue discussing and talking together about “work” after the school day ended. At first, Cole thought this would be a lovely opportunity to get to know me on a deeper level, and maybe eventually, we could start dating… after the school year was over. I am so incredibly glad that idea was very short-lived, because by any testimony from my family, my mind was on Cole and working with him only made it that much easier for me to be constantly daydreaming about this amazing, caring, thoughtful, and dedicated man.

It was on a school day after work, and I knew he was going to ask. It still makes me so giddy to think back to that moment. All I could really say was that I was excited, very, very excited.

At this point, we both thought that we would take our time dating, no rush at all, go slow. And this was the plan, the first date, second date, by the third date he knew he wanted to marry me, by the fourth date taking it slow had been removed from our vocabulary.

We are beyond blessed that God has so intricately woven our lives together. His impression has so lovingly guided our path as He has brought us together. Detailing the handiwork, the prayers, and the love that has gone into our relationship is beautiful as we have learned both together and apart to trust God with our future. He has far beyond answered our prayers in ways that we could never imagine deserving.
