The wedding venue, Summer Star Ranch, is a Helena address (7451 Owl Gulch Rd), but is actually closer to the small town of York & is approximately 30-45minutes from downtown Helena. That leaves some options for accommodations & getting to the venue.

There are several hotels in Helena – We have Holt/Edmondson room blocks at two:

***IF YOU ARE STAYING ANYWHERE IN DOWNTOWN HELENA WE WILL HAVE A SHUTTLE AVAILABLE BETWEEN TOWN & THE VENUE***

The shuttle will pick up once at BW Great Northern at 2:15pm, once at the Marriott at 2:38pm, and arrive at Summer Star Ranch approximately 3:40pm.

The shuttle will make 2 return trips in the evening, leaving the Ranch at 9pm and then again at Midnight.

When you RSVP online for the wedding, please indicate if you intend to use the shuttle service and, if so, from which hotel stop you plan to depart.

Other Accommodations available:

*Sweats Gulch offers free, dry RV/camping right across the road from the venue. There are places close by to replenish water, etc. There may be some type of “shuttling” available between this campsite & the venue – still TBD. No reservations required.

*Devil’s Elbow is another RV/Campground about 15 minutes from the venue. Potable water available at each campsite. Make a reservation here: https://thedyrt.com/camping/montana/devils-elbow-recreation-site

*VRBOs all along the way from Helena to the venue. Look in the area of Helena, York, Vista & Nelson. These may offer better capacity & rates than the hotels and put you a bit closer to the venue. Be sure to ask your host about proximity to the venue. Most are familiar with Summer Star Ranch.
