It all began in December of 2019, thanks to two very determined matchmakers—bridesmaid Sydney and groomsman Ryan—who were convinced we were meant to be. They set us up on a blind date, certain we’d hit it off. And they were right. Cole, however, wasn’t exactly prepared for a first date. He showed up in what we now lovingly call a “grout-fit”—a full grey outfit that made quite the impression. That moment stuck so well that we now celebrate December 23rd each year as Grout-Fit Day, a funny little tribute to how it all started. From the beginning, something just clicked. Not long after that first date, Cole was already planning the next. A few weeks later, on February 1st, 2020, Cole officially asked Abbie to be his girlfriend—and of course, she said yes.Fast forward to August 2021, a big change was coming. Abbie was moving to Bozeman, Montana for college. Long-distance wasn’t easy, but we both knew it was worth it. And after a year apart, Cole realized he loved more than just Abbie—he had also fallen in love with Bozeman. So, he made the move and joined her there a year later. Over the next few years, our relationship grew even stronger. We talked about the future, including the question. Abbie had just one rule: “I have to be graduated from college—then you're free to pop the question.” And Cole listened. In June 2025, just a month after Abbie’s graduation, Cole planned a camping trip to a beautiful site surrounded by aspen trees. While they were there, they carved their initials into one of the trees—something small and sentimental. Then, Cole got down on one knee and asked Abbie to marry him. Now, after years of laughter, growth, long-distance calls, and unforgettable memories, we’re so excited to finally celebrate this next chapter with all of you. Our wedding day is more than just a day—it’s a celebration of everything that brought us here: the grout-fit, the miles between us, the late-night talks, and all the love in between. We can’t wait to share this special moment with our favorite people and start the rest of our forever together. Let’s celebrate!

We can't wait for you all to visit our home here in Montana! We know many of you will be traveling from out of state and may need a place to stay. There are plenty of hotels around the Bozeman area, as well as Airbnbs and some campsites if you decide to bring your trailer. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need recommendations for the area!

This is one of the most popular things to do while you’re in Bozeman. It’s about an hour and 40 minutes away, so be sure to give yourself plenty of time for the trip!

This hike is about 1–3 miles long, depending on which route you take. Once you’re at the top, you’ll have a great view of Bozeman!

College 'M' Trail

This is the first hike Abbie did with her college friends freshman year. It’s about 6 miles round-trip, but the destination is absolutely breathtaking! Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks!

Big Sky is a beautiful town and surrounding area, and the resort offers a variety of activities during the summer. These include hiking, golfing, scenic lift rides, zip lining, and much more.

This bar is located in Gallatin Gateway and has a great atmosphere, live music, and swing dancing.

Stacey's Old Faithful Bar & Steakhouse

This is one of Cole’s and his dad’s favorite spots in Bozeman. They have a great collection of beer and food trucks parked there daily.

This is Abbie’s favorite breakfast spot! They have amazing food and the best iced coffee.
