We met in August of 2023 at a coffee shop meet-up hosted by City Life Church. Cole moved from Kansas City to Wichita to study at Wichita State University, and Emma was a recent transfer student. We quickly became best friends and began dating in December of 2023. Some highlights of our relationship include: Cole falling through a flight of stairs on our first date, teaching Emma how to ski, competitive game nights, a summer of long-distance as Cole studied abroad, endless car-ride karaoke, serving together at our church, cliff jumping and snorkeling in the Caribbean, and contemplating every-other day if we should quit our jobs and pursue van-life. On July 6th, 2025, we got engaged and committed to spending the rest of our lives together. We cannot wait to enter into the covenant of marriage and celebrate our love with all of our family and friends!
