Our Wedding

Cole and Lillia met sophomore year (2016) of college at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. Lillia's dorm room was directly above Cole's, and through mutual friends their groups started hanging out. After some debate of Trail Blazers VS Warriors, Cole and Lil exchanged numbers and continued to get to know each other outside of the friend group. Their relationship progressed naturally to the point that they both considered each other boyfriend and girlfriend without an official "asking out" date. Contrary to popular belief, Cole told Lil he loved her first! They dated the rest of their time at GU and moved in together in Campbell, CA after graduation. In March 2023, after 6.5 years of being together, Cole asked Lil to marry him at the base of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, CA. Together they have traveled to 6 countries, lived in 3 apartments, adopted 1 cat, and cannot wait to continue to explore life together.

For our out-of-town guests we recommend flying into SJC. Monterey is a 1 hour and 15min drive from SJC. We have provided information below for a shuttle that can be hired to drive from SJC to Monterey and back.

San Jose Mineta International Airport (SJC)

MRY is a regional airport located in Monterey. Flights in and out of this airport are limited, and most likely not non-stop. This airport is the closest to the venue. Please refer to Google Flights/MRY website for inbound-outbound logistics.

We recommend Hilton Garden Inn due to the close proximity to the venue (7 min drive) and room rate.

We recommend visiting the aquarium if time in your schedule allows. We always visit the aquarium anytime we are in Monterey. It is the best aquarium we have ever been to!

Monterey Bay Aquarium

Old Fisherman's Wharf

Lots of different shops and restaurants line this stretch of Monterey. The aquarium is located at the very end of the row. Steinbeck's book "Cannery Row" is based on this very street!
