Our journey began in October 2022. From our very first date in Ann Arbor, Michigan—where brunch and a cider mill set the scene—it was clear that something special was unfolding. Despite Cole's unintentional encounter with a killing a bee on Kayla's plate (yes, during brunch!), our initial 2-hour date stretched into an unforgettable 6-hour adventure.

Navigating 1.5 years of a long-distance relationship, with a commute that felt like a breeze despite the 1.5-hour drive between us, only reaffirmed our deep connection. Our shared faith in God and our cherished families have always been at the heart of our lives. Now, we're blessed to call Perrysburg, Ohio, our temporary home together. From that first date, we both knew in our hearts that we were destined to be together.
