Colin and Celeena's paths crossed three and a half years ago within the walls of NewSpring Church in Clemson, SC. Their initial connection, rooted in their devotion to faith and shared enthusiasm for Disney, laid the groundwork for what would become only the start of a lifelong journey together.

The early days of their friendship were marked by meaningful conversations over coffee at a local coffee shop and peaceful afternoons on Bowman Field. These moments shaped their relationship into one of unwavering support and understanding, each becoming one of the other's most trusted confidants.

Their spiritual connection deepened as they attended Passion 2022 together, strengthening their faiths and bond as friends. When Celeena accepted an opportunity with the Disney College Program in April 2022, saying goodbye was not easy for both of them. Yet, it did not take long for Colin to join his friends Garrett and Levi on a road trip to visit her.

Upon returning from her time in Disney, Colin was one of the first people that Celeena called when she was back in town. The two were able to pick their friendship up exactly where they left off like she was never gone.

Though both experienced feelings for each other at different points throughout their friendship, it wasn't until February 2024 that the timing aligned perfectly. Their transition from close friends to partners felt natural and right. They would constantly have conversations rehashing the friendship and recognizing that it was always going to be the both of them together, whether they knew it at the time or not.

Today, their relationship flourishes through shared experiences - from Broadway performances and worship concerts to starlit picnics by the lake and adventures in Charleston and Disney parks.

Looking back, both Colin and Celeena can see God's hand in orchestrating their journey - from friendship to love - in His perfect timing. What started as two friends bonding over Disney magic and coffee dates has transformed into a deep, Christ-centered love that they both know will last a lifetime. They find joy in the simple moments together and in the ways that God shows His hand in everything that they do.
