Colin and Erica met while living in the same house at Stonehill College in 2015. Living in a house with all of your closest friends means you end up spending a lot of time together. Colin and Erica were most often part of the few who stayed up on the weekends until the early morning hours exploring campus rooftops, playing games, and other typical college antics.

When Colin graduated in May of 2015, he finally asked Erica if she would like to go out on a date. With Erica leaving for a summer semester in Italy a few days later, she agreed, but wanted to wait until after she got back. They spent most of the summer messaging and talking on the phone while working around a 6 hour time difference.

When Erica returned from her summer abroad, they did end up going out on a date in Boston. While it wasn't the best planned outing, they still both wanted to see each other again and did so through that summer and into Erica's senior year at Stonehill.

After graduation, Erica spent a lot of time at Colin's Brighton apartment and their bond became stronger and stronger. Erica taught Colin how to cook despite a barely stocked kitchen and half of the utensils needed to make a proper dish.

Colin and Erica moved into a Brighton apartment together in 2017 and have many happy memories exploring the city. They attended over 15 Red Sox games in 2018 including Game 1 of the World Series. They also added a cat, Gus, to their household who ended up choosing Colin as his favorite person despite their intention of getting him to keep Erica company while Colin worked his busy tax season.

Erica and Colin both share a love of sports, live music, good food, and travelling. They have enjoyed seeing the world together with trips to Colorado, Florida, New York, Italy, Greece, Malta, and more!

When the COVID-19 pandemic started in early 2020, Colin and Erica decided they needed a little more space at home and moved to a bigger apartment in Belmont. They loved exploring a new place together for a few years and ended up finding a great Italian restaurant that became a regular weekend destination for them.

Just after Christmas in 2023, Colin made a reservation at their usual spot for dinner. He ended up proposing just outside after dinner and Erica, of course, said yes! She's still convinced that he chose the location so that his favorite chicken parmesan dinner would be on the menu no matter where life took them.

Since getting engaged, Colin and Erica bought a home in Tewksbury and added a one-year-old dog, Mugsy, to their little family. They cannot wait to see what adventures await them in marriage!
