It all began in 2020, the year the sickness swept the nation. Colin, who worked at a local credit union, was filling in during the summer months as a lending specialist at one of the southern branches where Maddie worked as a teller.

Though they knew of each other in passing they didn't talk much until Maddie wheeled into his office one day on a scooter (due to a snapped Achilles tendon) asking for a loan to save her aging cat, Angel (RIP). From there, the ice was broken and Colin was moved to another branch permanently as Maddie continued to thrive at her own.

The two stayed in touch off and on over business emails for the next year and a half. Eventually Maddie started to pursue Colin, inquiring on whether he'd be down to grab a drink at some point. But Colin, jaded due to his dark past, resisted at first thinking she was just being courteous like she was to everyone she interacted with. Finally, when chance came, Colin finally agreed to grab that drink with Maddie and from then, the two sailed into the unknown.

Throughout the next two years, many adventures and memories where made. From talking about the joys of Christmas to escaping into the mountains. The couple took the journey together, enjoying the present moments, the laughs, the tears, and eventually the love they both shared.

Then one day, on the edge of the Grand Canyon, Colin took a leap he never thought he would take... a leap to his death... the death of a bachelor. He proposed to Maddie, asking for her hand and luckily for him... she said "yes". So come celebrate this union with us and lets PARTY!
