As many of you know we have been together for quite a long time. We met when we were freshman in high-school in 2013. For me I always had an inkling that we would get married, but for Colin it took a bit longer. As he would say, good things take time! 10 years to be exact. We went to 9 out of 10 high-school dances together and graduated from Saint Bede Academy in 2016. We decided we wanted to stay home for a bit longer so we pursued our undergraduate degrees at IVCC. In 2018 we made the move down to Peoria, IL. We spent the next two years studying hard to achieve our careers. This brings us to 2020 where we graduated. Colin with his Engineering degree and I with my Nursing degree. Later that year we purchased our first home together. We both felt like the house was a little to quiet, so in 2021 we decided to add a little (now big) member to our family. That member being the loving, fluffy Miss Pippa herself. In September of 2022 Colin asked the big question at Lake Louise, Canada. This was a place we had talked about visiting for years. The answer was obviously a yes, or else you all wouldn’t be here reading this! These are just the major highlights of our lives together thus far. However, within the last 10 years we have met the best of friends, lost some loved ones, traveled to many different places, and ultimately grown up together. We cannot wait to share our biggest milestone yet with all of you in one of our favorite places.
