Sister of the bride and best friend. The two got close when Amanda entered high school and continued to get closer when they both went to school at UNM. They were even able to live together and share a room in college. That semester ended up being a hard one for them both and they were able to lean heavily on one another. They keep up and facetime often and have remained close even after Kayla moved.

Colin met Craig his Freshman year of college in their campus ministry. Although Craig has been quoted saying "I never would've imagined we'd be friends after we first met," they became loyal friends. Craig has been Colin's best friend throughout he and Kayla's relationship, being rock solid. He made an obvious choice for best man.

Kayla and Emma met at the University of New Mexico through church and became fast friends. Emma has supported Kayla in many life stages and Emma has enabled a lot of her growth. The two shared a room in college.

Met freshman year of college during the pandemic. Makena was a huge answered prayer as the pandemic was a hard time to move and make friends. Makena made the transition easier and became a good friend and roommate.

Amanda and Kayla in middle school through church and bonded over music, theater, and God. She was one of the reasons Kayla decided to leave New Mexico and felt good about starting over in a new place. She was is a roommate post college which the two dreamed about when they were young.

Kayla and Alex met in middle school through church and our mothers. Both of them originally thought the other didn't like them but they quickly became best friends. They had sleepovers almost every weekend in high school and bonded over drinking too much tea and eating too much popcorn.

Kayla met Brooke's husband in college and he introduced Brooke and Kayla. The Two realized quickly that they shared many similar strengths and struggles. The became fast friends when she moved to Albuquerque and the two have not stopped laughing since.

In High school, Anna was Kayla's partner in crime. They spent too much time running around downtown Naperville doing young and dumb kid things. They were both competitive in soccer and played often at Nike park. The two have maintained their friendship even though they live on opposite sides of the country.

Sister in law and friend, Sami and Kayla met when Jacob (brother of the Bride) started dating Sami. She has become a good friend of Kayla's as they've shared holidays and become family.

Together, Colin, Craig and Josh form a trio known as THE BOYS. Josh is the architect of this eclectic group. Sharing deep bonds over country music, sports, and comedy, Colin considers Josh to be his best friend too. He will deliver the 'best man speech' at the wedding. Although Josh lives 1000 miles away in Florida, they maintain their friendship over the long distance.

DOUG, which is Colin's nickname for Parker, is Colin's oldest friend. They met early in life through family; although Doug and Colin are not blood related they share family in common. Colin and Doug became closer in college doing activities like skiing and mountain biking together.

"The Prophet." Colin and Isaiah initially became friends while living together and sharing a room during a ministry internship in Utah during college. They shared each others passion for ministry. Isaiah is the instigator of Colin and Kayla's relationship insisting that they meet and even that they would be married before they met. Matthew 15:7.

Brother of Isaiah, Justus was one of the first people Colin met when he was introduced to his church in 2020. Justus soon moved to Milwaukee, but after he returned to Denver the two grew closer. Justus' joyful nature balances Colin's hypercriticism.

Rick was Colin's campus minister during college and now he's his boss. Rick is also Colin's mentor, and they've been close for several years. But, they became closer once Colin started working as a minster, and now they work closely together daily. Their working relationship feels more like close friends than boss and employee.

Hayden, or Dorito, is the cousin of Colin on his moms side, yet they're more than just relatives. They're close friends. Colin felt the need to add Dorito's unique role of groomswoman to honor and appreciate their friendship.

Jacob is Kayla's older brother and the two were super close in high school where they both played soccer (maybe too competitively) and did choir together. Colin wanted to honor Jacob making him a groomsman.
