Colleen and Max met in spring 2021 at the University of Kansas, where they both attended college. They shared many fun memories and quickly grew a strong connection they were excited to pursue. In the summer of 2021, Max moved to Minnesota, which started their long-distance journey.


Although they had to get accustomed to living 7 hours away from each other, they met lifelong friends and still share a love and connection for the state that taught them how to do long distance. After 2 (long) years, Max moved to Colorado, where Colleen followed shortly after.


They both share a love for traveling and seeing new parts of the world, which made their time together even more special. Their travels together include Greece, Jackson Hole, Charleston, Florida, Georgia, Minnesota, Estes Park Colorado, Grand Lake Colorado, Salida Colorado, Vail, Mexico, New York, California and Washington DC. They look forward to continuing their travel adventures together on their honeymoon to St Lucia and in the future!


They are so grateful for not only KU, but also the friends they met throughout their distance journey together who are now people they cant imagine their life without!


Four years later, they are here to celebrate their wedding alongside family and friends they love. Thank you for being here!
