Colleen and Andrew were introduced to each other by Erin, Blake's (Andrew's brother) wife. They both worked together, and one day, Erin gave Colleen Andrew's number. After the first text, the rest was history.


Andrew and Colleen spent the first months of their relationship navigating the reality of having pandemic dates. From Wendy's picnics under the gazebo behind the Fergus arena to many walks, they made it work.


Fast forward a year and a half, and Andrew & Colleen moved in together, adopted a land shark named Lila, and created a life together.

Andrew proposed to Colleen on August 31, 2023. Andrew had been planning on proposing to Colleen for months but was trying to find the perfect time to. As it's done a lot over the past few years, COVID got in the way.


After going on a family trip to a cottage, where Andrew asked permission to marry Colleen, both Andrew and Colleen returned home with COVID.


Once the worst of the symptoms had gone away, and Andrew was testing negative, he decided it was time to ask Colleen (who still had COVID).


He ordered a bouquet of roses with a personalized note and came up with an elaborate plan of asking Colleen to marry him. Little did he know that his name wouldn't be on the inside of the card. As a result, Colleen thought she had a stalker who was sending her roses. Adding to her confusion was Andrew down on one knee with a ring, asking her to marry him. As a result, she needs to sit down, but not before saying yes!!!!
