We met at Jefferson Junior High School during our eighth grade dance unit in P.E. We were partnered up by chance and the rest is history! Jason wasn't tall enough to spin me at that point in time so we will see how our first dance goes...

After a horrible day at work, I came home to find a pathway of red balloons leading from our entryway into our kitchen and the Beatles' "In My Life" playing in the background. Tied to the bottom of each balloon was either a picture of the two of us (a variety from high school, college, and now) or a note or letter I had written to Jason in high school or college (he had saved them all for this exact moment). Jason was down on one knee at the end of the balloon pathway with the perfect ring. He had even dressed up our dogs in little bow ties. It was a complete surprise and the absolute best moment.
