We first met on March 17, 2022 at a bar on St. Paddy's Day. John introduced himself to me multiple times ("Hi, I'm John!") and kept finding me throughout the night. My friend Tori made me go out that night even though I really didn't want to and I came to find out (a year or so later) that the entire point of her inviting me out was to introduce me to him.

John struck up a conversation with me at Doyle's Bar in Brockton asking me about my tattoo's and offered to buy me a green beer. The night continued and he decided to make a grand gesture and kiss me in front of 500+ people at the bar, give me his keys to drive his red truck home, and come hang out with us all at my apartment. He came back to my house, left for a day, promised to text me (and didn't and left me hanging for two days) then invited me out on a date and we never stopped hanging out after that. I was smitten with him, and that feeling has never gone away.

Flash forward to November of 2022: John wanted to take me on a vacation to Aruba and quietly asked my parents for permission to marry me, while simultaneously not so quietly telling everyone that was in my life that "he was going to marry me someday". He proposed on "Baby Beach" in Aruba in the Caribbean Sea (somehow not dropping the ring while doing so) and I obviously said yes. Shortly after we got engaged, we found out we were pregnant with our daughter and decided to go to the court house and get married on June 23, 2023. We moved our big wedding to April 13, 2025 and we can't wait to say "I do" again with all of our close friends and family there with us.
