Spring in Virginia is somewhat unpredictable. Check the weather forecast the week before and be prepared for warm days and cool nights! Keep in mind the mountains also make their own weather.

Please dress in your "Sunday best". For Men: think polished and refined, yet also comfortable. Dress slacks with a button-down or collared shirt are perfect. For Women: opt for a dress, skirt, or a tailored jumpsuit that feels elegant but comfortable for early Summer.

The Peaks of Otter Lodge is located off the Blue Ridge Parkway in the heart of Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains. Due to this unique location, there is little to no cell service on the property.

We kindly ask that all phones be silenced and put away during the ceremony. This moment is very special to us, and we’d love for everyone to be fully present. Our photographer will capture everything beautifully, so you can relax and enjoy the experience without distractions.

We recommend guests fly into Lynchburg Regional Airport (LYH) or Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport (ROA). Flights connect via a variety of major hubs.
