Our Story

Things to Eat in the 513

Arnold's Bar and Grill (210 E 8th Street)

A mere 0.2 miles from St. Francis Xavier Church and only a half mile from the Renaissance, Arnold’s is Cincinnati’s oldest tavern. Come here for a perfectly poured pint of Guinness and above-par American comfort food.

Taft’s Alehouse (1429 Race Street)

Named for William Howard Taft, the only individual to have served both as President of the United States and Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court, Taft’s Alehouse is a classic brewpub serving artisanal beers, steaks & salads in a former, 19th-century church.

Bakersfield (1213 Vine Street)

Tacos & a few other Mexican dishes are delivered in a chic, upbeat, margarita-fueled atmosphere.

The Eagle (1342 Vine Street)

Rustic-chic eatery & beer hall dishing up Southern classics such as fried chicken & spoonbread.

The Senate (1212 Vine Street)

Trendy pub serving gourmet hot dogs with creative toppings, plus local brews & retro cocktails.

Montgomery Inn The Boathouse (925 Riverside Drive)

A Cincinnati BBQ classic.

Maplewood Kitchen & Bar (525 Race Street)

An upscale take on brunch, with many a la carte options.

Nation Kitchen & Bar (1200 Broadway Street)

A great place for brunch and hangover food.

Holtman's Donuts (1332 Vine Street)

Family-owned donut shop where you can pick up a quick sweet treat to start or end a great day.

Skyline

A local restaurant chain that serves "Cincinnati Style Chili," Skyline can be polarizing. We think it's delicious, but the website Deadspin made a list of every state's specialty dish, ranked from best to worst. Ohio (represented by Skyline), landed in spot 52. Yes, it was behind all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and "being hit by a car."

Graeter's

Founded in 1870 in Cincinnati, Graeter's has over 145 years of history of handcrafting French Pot ice cream. Try the black raspberry chip or the mint chocolate chip!

LaRosa’s Pizzeria

Serving Italian favorites to Cincinnatians since 1945!
