We grew up on opposite sides of the world (Hobart, Tasmania and Glenview, Illinois) and after both being career focused (wild) in our 20's, we somehow each wound up in Venice beach, CA at just the right time.

After a fateful swipe on Bumble and a conversation started over plants (which our apartment is now full of), we decided to grab a drink. What was at first an unenthusiastic agreement to a first date by both, quickly turned into a conversation that continued until they closed the restaurant and kicked us out. Basically from that first spicy margarita at our neighborhood bar, we were inseparable. After 6 months and an incredible trip to Australia, we got engaged in our pajamas in the kitchen on a Saturday morning and spent the most perfect day with family.

Most importantly, Hamish is obsessed with our shihtzu Pearl now and that has really sealed the deal.
