Best would be to fly into Naples airport (NAP) or get to Napoli Centrale (train) and take a private transfer. Usually about 1.25 hours. There are some transfers and a shuttle bus on the travel section. It is also possible to take the train then bus to Amalfi, takes about 2.5 hours. Then you could walk or take a taxi. Boat service runs between Salerno and Amalfi. Car rental is an option but parking could be difficult and the roads have a very steep curve, do not recommend.
