David and Colleen met in a high school math class her junior year. They sat next to each other because of a mutual friend, but rarely talked (they’re both awkward). They started dating on January 27th, 2016. Colleen quickly fell in love with him and his dog Francine and they have been inseparable ever since. David proposed on July 27th, 2023, while on a weekend getaway in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He told Colleen they were going to an art museum so she would dress up and instead brought her to a beautiful beach on Lake Michigan. While walking the beach he proposed and surprised her with a photographer. After eight and a half wonderful years, they are officially making it forever!
