Logan and Collin met freshman year at Luther College. During the orientation week at Luther we both attended a ballroom dance event and shared our first dance together. Though freshman year was not to be, and we wouldn't meet in earnest until sophomore year, when we were introduced by our mutual friends as we lived just a floor apart. Continuing to bump into and hang out with each other, our friends thought they could begin to see the faint flash of sparks. BUT NO, who were we to ruin such an excellent potential friendship with romance? We were to be wingman and wingwoman, purely platonic, the closest friends.

And so it was, a strong friendship formed throughout college. Gifts were bought and exchanged, neighbor nights came and went, cheers were made on the sidelines of rugby meets, concerts were attended, and a shared love of Avatar the Last Airbender filled the next few years. Our friends quietly watched us our senior year waiting to see who would flinch first, but it wasn’t until our first full year out of college and a summer reunion that Cupid finally improved his aim and hit us both at the same time.
