At the beginning of our junior year at Dordt University, we found ourselves in the same group of friends.

We went to Panama City Beach for spring break! The trip ignited a spark that lit a kindling fire. Throughout the next two months, our relationship grew into a close friendship -- check out Collin's mullet!

Our first official date! After a long summer apart, Collin took Nicki to eat at Fiero Pizza in Downtown Sioux Falls. From there, they went to a Russel Dickerson Concert at the Corn Palace in Mitchell, SD.

We started officially dating! Collin took Nicki out to eat at Trattoria Buon Gusto in Ireton, IA!

We spent our 6-month anniversary together on our second spring break trip with a group of friends in Moab, UT.

We graduated!

We got to spend one last week together in Sioux Falls, SD before Collin moved to Nicki's hometown: Hudsonville, MI.

We celebrated our 1-year of dating in Muskegon, MI!

We got engaged at Holland State Park!
