Q + A

Can I bring my children and / or a plus one if they were not listed on the invitation?

Unfortunately, we have limited space at our wedding venue so ask that only those listed on the invitation be present at our wedding. However, we love Mendocino and encourage families to bring their loved ones to the area for fun. We would love for children and partners to join for the events leading up to the big day and any chill time on Sunday.

Will there be childcare available for families traveling with little ones?

If you'd like to get in touch with a local babysitter for Saturday night, please reach out to Miyako or Collin. We would be happy to recommend some services in the Mendocino area.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes, there's plenty of parking on-site! We'll also be running a shuttle from Mendocino to the venue.

What’s the weather typically like at that time of year?

Mendocino in September is a classic Northern California climate: temperate and sunny. Days are usually sunny and warm, with highs around 70°F, while evenings can be cool, with temperatures dropping to the mid-50s. Since we'll be on the coast, there may be some ocean breezes, so we recommend bringing a jacket or wrap to stay comfortable, particularly in the evenings.

What should I wear to the wedding?

Our dress code is "garden party," perfect for an outdoor celebration on the Mendocino coast in September. Ladies, flowy, flowery dresses, jumpsuits, bright colors are all welcome. Please wear sandals or chunky heels as we will be on grass the entire evening. Men, lightweight suits or blazers with dress shirts are perfect (ties optional). Ultimately, whatever you feel best in! For the evening, please bring a jacket! Lastly, we'll be migrating the party from the lawn to the beach at 10p.m. so feel free to bring a change of clothes and shoes (ladies, a pair of comfy sweats and a big sweatshirt is great too!)
