What started as two co-workers at a Food Lion in Indian Land SC turned into a future together forever. Their love towards each other has led from laughs, fun, and memories to a deep christ centered relationship.How We Met:Colt and Alexis met at a Food Lion in Indian Land SC. Colt started working at Food Lion a month before Alexis and as they worked more together they would grow their friendship. Colt would move to Myrtle Beach SC where he would start his college career. Colt and Alexis would often have phone calls and keep up to date with each other about life. With time this friendship turned into something more :) January 24, 2023The First Date:Their first date was February 14, 2023 where Colt drove three hours after class to take Alexis for their first Valentines day together. They went out to dinner at the Office where Alexis dropped Colt's phone into ranch dressing as they shared a tray full of wings (Great choice for first date meal...).The Proposal:Colt started planning for the perfect proposal with the help of his best man and best friend Luke Hubbard. Colt found the place, the how, and the right words to use. Then it was the day February 14th 2025. The weather was beautiful, the plan...perfect, Alexis met Colt for a normal date to go to the movies, go to the park and go to dinner. They watched Captain America: Brave New World. Later they went to the mall and Alexis would find an outfit not knowing this was her outfit to be proposed in. Colt took Alexis to Freedom Park Charlotte NC, which started his plan. He would walk with her and take her to a beautiful amphitheater which was the planned spot for the proposal. Luke would be their photographer and Gunner Hubbard would be the drone pilot and assist Luke. Colt proposed with his planned words and even though he was very nervous the proposal ended of course with tears and a YES!!.The Future:After getting married, Colt and Alexis plan on staying in the Greenville SC area while Alexis finishes up Nursing School. Colt will be continuing working under Americans Airlines as their relationship grows together. They plan on traveling, paying off school debt, and building a family. This is their five year plan.As the special day closes in, Colt and Alexis prepare each other for marriage and a God centered relationship which is their foundation for their life and their future together...forever.
