The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal, so feel free to dress to impress while keeping it comfortable! Please keep in mind it is primarily outdoors and that it may cool down in the evening, so we recommend bringing a light jacket or sweater to stay cozy as the night goes on. We can’t wait to see everyone looking their best!
Is it an open bar?
While we would absolutely love to have an open bar, in an effort to reduce waste, we’ve decided to go with a toonie bar instead. This means drinks will be available for just a toonie ($2), and will also be offering wine with dinner at no cost for you to enjoy. We hope this will help keep things fun and sustainable! Thank you for your understanding.
Should I bring a gift?
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for, and gifts are absolutely not necessary. However, if you do feel inclined to give something, we would graciously accept a monetary gift which will go toward helping us start our new life together. We appreciate any gesture, but most importantly, we’re just so happy to have you celebrate with us!
Should I book a ferry?
We know the ferry system can sometimes be a bit inconvenient, but to help make your travel smoother, we highly recommend making a ferry reservation (bookings begin 6 months out). This will help avoid delays and minimize any extra wait time, ensuring you arrive relaxed and ready to celebrate with us. Safe travels, and we can't wait to see you!
