Colton & Sami

Our story began in 2017 when we first met in high school through mutual friends. We never went to the same highschool, but that one day Colton came to see his friends caught the eye of Sami.

When Colton and Sami first met, Sami was super shy and went silent and didn't know how to talk to Colton. It was later that night Sami messaged Colton and mentioned how shy and embarrassed she was that they didn't get to talk. That was when Colton offered to come pick her up the next day and bring her to his house. Colton and Sami spent the 15-minute drive to his house talking and learning about each other. Later that night Colton introduced Sami to his mom and that's when Sami knew that this was a family she wanted to be a part of.

Colton and Sami did five years of long-distance after high school while going off to College. Those times were difficult and their love story has brought so much happiness and growth throughout the years.

Sami and Colton share special milestones, In 2021 they got their fur baby Maya. In 2024 they bought their first home together in Bridgenorth! Colton has been working and selling many cars at Mazda, and Sami passed her nursing license and got a job at the Peterborough Hospital.

In December 2024, Colton and Sami went on a vacation to the Dominican. After months of keeping this big secret and hiding this beautiful ring, Colton got down on one knee on their walk on the beach and proposed. Overwhelmed with emotion, Sami momentarily blacked out from shock and didn't even say yes. She just said How did you afford this? as Colton kept saying how poor he was months before. Sami's mind went blank and afterwards hugged him and said yes!

Throughout the eight years that Colton and Sami have been together, they have been on many adventures, such as Cuba, Dominican, Costa Rica, and a cruise through Tampa, Mexico, and the Cayman Islands. They both love traveling together and have many more traveling experiences together in store.

As we look forward to our future together, filled with love, laughter, and many more adventures together, we are grateful for the love and support from our family and friends. We are beyond excited to start our journey and to share another traveling experience with all of you in Jamaica!
