It all started in 2016 when a mutual friend at the Coast Guard Academy set Cole and Conner up to be “blind dates” for their military ball. They finally met 3 months later at the ball. They dated long distance through college while Cole was at CGA in Connecticut and Conner was at ECU in North Carolina. Once they graduated and Cole was stationed in Virginia, they were no longer a plane ride away from each other!! Long distance, multiple patrols, big boy & girl jobs, a pandemic, a house, a puppy named Ford and 5 years later to the day - Cole got down on one knee and asked Conner to be his wife!
